Hope you caught Absolute Radio's Sunday Night Music Club in the 8th of January!

Each week we put forward 5 carefully chosen tracks for our Absolute radio-play opportunity, and Pete Donaldson plays one on SNMC as his "unsigned pick of the week".

Our first shorlisted track was On the Road by My Friend Friday - energetic pop rock to taking you on a nostalgic trip to the 90s. Next was Via Mars by New Avenue - It's hard to believe these highly accomplished musicians are mostly still in their teens. The third track was Stockholm by indie electro outfit Dead Social Club - big favourites here at UBR! The ever impossible to pigeon-hole Fjokra was the fourth track to be but forward with the musical masterpiece that is Slyrex. Last but not least came singer-songwriter Adam Baker with another of his beautiful tracks - Beyond the Sun.
